Dear All,

Something awfull is happening in Holland. Landowners and the wind industry have made plans to built wind farms on every available piece of land in the north of Holland.

I always thought wind energy was green energy, but this is far from the truth. After a year of reading reports from people who are living in the vicinity of wind turbines, and technical reports from acousticians, I have come to understand that wind farms are destroying the health of the people living close by. This is probably due to the fact that wind turbines generate low frequent noise and Infrasound. And this is very harmful for humans and animals. (See the documentary, “Pandora’s Pinwheels.”)

But, because there is so much money involved (subsidies), the wind industry and governments are not willing to look at the negative health aspects.

In Holland we are going to offer a petition to the government, to make them AWARE of what is really happening.

At the same time we have an international petition online to ask for support from abroad.

If you feel you would like to give us your support, then please sign this petition and send it on to as many people as possible.

Thank you very much!

Janet Holtkamp

I’M WINDFARM REFUGEE. I CAN NOT THINK OF MANY THINKS WORSE THEN WINDFARS, WAR AND THE WAY BEUROCRATS-POLATIONS TREAT THEIR CONSDITIONS. THE SCAMS AND CONS AND SPIN, LIES AND ABUSE OF THE PEOPLE MUST BE STOPPED.
    JOHN.

Wind farms are not the answer to our energy needs. For one thing, they are ugly-looking structures and proven to have adverse effects, as well.

Space buffers (setbacks) need to be required between the wind turbines and people. In addition, the turbines’ detriment to the environment far outweighs supposed advantages.

Solar power is far more predictable and dependable and should be pursued for the sake of our environment and for the protection of people and wildlife.

I urge everyone to support us by signing the petition. The plans they have developed in the north of Holland are a distaster!

Thousands of people will be living within 1 kilometer of turbines, with a hight of 200 meters! These turbines were never meant to be built on land!

We must stop this, for the sake of everybody’s health.

Please also visit our website to see images of the situation to come, or browse any of the other websites mentioned here.

Please support us in our battle against these monsters!

Unbelievable and disgusting. How can they do this to people.

All over Europe people are having to get together to fight massive industrial wind turbines. This must be a united effort

Wind turbine owners are not in the electricity generating industry, they’re in the SUBSIDY GENERATING INDUSTRY -making vast amounts of money thats going into the back pockets of the directors of foreign multinationals eg Spain’s Gamesa and Iberdrola and Germany’s Siemens, Koreas Samsung and various Chinese companies

The pitiful amounts of energy they collectively generate wouldn’t light up a town centre far less power a city

They bring death and destruction and destroy the countryside for our children and grandchildren

Wise up. Nuclear is the ONLY option to save us from energy poverty

Stop these windfarms now. They are ugly and inefficient.

Dear Sir, I live in front of 53 turbines, some 110m high and they want to put a further 30 behind the house. The nearest 12 turbines are between 690 and 900m away. I have become seriously ill and am trying to find a specialist who will undertake a lung biopsy upon me. The effects of vibro acoustic disease are apparently unique. If the biopsy proves this, then hopefully governments (and Scotland is one of the most fixated on wind energy) will finally have to face facts.

Please stop the decimation of our countryside and attack on humans. There is absolutely no evidence that wind turbines will reduce carbon emissions yet our governments are still imposing these monstrosities on us. To add insult to injury, we’re paying for it via consumer subsidies. Independent expert advice clearly illustrates that the current process is grossly inappropriate and contravenes the .

‘Wind turbines have been widely accepted as electricity producers thanks to claims that wind comes free of charge, and each kWh thus produced replaces a kWh provided by conventional techniques, i.e., it saves the fossil fuel otherwise needed. However, these assumptions have never been validated in existing power distribution systems even after the installation of as much as 86 GW of wind power in Europe alone.’ – C. le Pair, F. Udo and K. de Groot – DOI: 10.1051/epn/2012204

‘A large body of evidence now exists to suggest that wind turbines disturb sleep and impair health at distances and external noise levels that are permitted in most jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom’ – British Medical Journal, March 2012

Please note also that for every wind turbine planning application, the relevant government body processing the application is obliged to provide the public with Under Article 5 of the Aarhus Convention, both the EU and the UK as parties are required to ensure:
    – ‘Public authorities possess and update environmental information which is relevant to their functions.’
    – ‘Each Party shall ensure that, within the framework of national legislation, the way in which public authorities make environmental information available to the public is transparent and that environmental information is effectively accessible.’

Therefore, the actual emissions savings, fuel savings and climate change benefits which would justify the approval of all wind turbine planning applications should be available. When making your objection to each wind turbine application, make sure that you ask your local authority to provide you with detailed evidence for the precise actual benefits (as opposed to the assumed benefits factored into policy) that they will include in the balance when assessing the proposal.

I used to support wind turbines believing them to be a green way forward, unfortunately as I research more and read more about them and realise the damaging effects they are having on health of those living nearby; not to mention the horrific industrialisation of our Scottish hills I realise these “wind farms” are not anything we can afford or want. research means of producing electricity which are more efficient and more reliable.

We here, are now facing encirclement in Aberdeenshire Scotland.
    Our MSP’S useless.
    Our planning, hands tied.
Our councillors having the power to refuse, could do so more.
    Community councils powerless.
    Houses far too close.
    Housing blighted with devaluation.
    Scottish gidance over ridden.
    Local plan weakend.
Wind farm companies bribing communities with cash.
Evrery county in Scotland with diffrent guidlines.
Tescos shipping foodstuffs from the otherside of the world with massive co2 implications.
All our money in one basket. No R&D into base fuels like Thorium algal tec , Bio etc.

    Regards Mr Angry

No more wind turbines. These are are serious health risk etc. etc.
