Dear Dr Pierpont,
As you are aware, the Senate Community Affairs References Committee is currently conducting an inquiry into the social and economic impacts of rural wind farms, and to which you made a submission.
The Committee will be holding a public hearing on Friday, 25 March 2011 in Canberra. The Committee would like to invite you to appear via teleconference from 10.00 am to 10.45 am AEDT (7.00 pm to 7.45 pm on Thursday, 24 March 2011 in New York, NY).
Can you please advise at your earliest convenience whether you are available to appear at this time; and if so, please provide the telephone number on which the Committee can reach you?

This is great news, Nina and Calvin! Your dedication and commitment to deliver the “real facts” is appreciated by those of us who see the “big picture” with regard to this issue. We can only hope the US will soon follow Australia’s lead and begin to take a serious look at the “facts.”

We are absolutely delighted that the Australian Federal Senate Committee, who are holding the inquiry into Rural Wind Farms, have invited Dr Pierpont to give evidence. On behalf of everyone in Australia with an interest in seeing these health issues taken seriously and properly investigated further I would like to publicly thank her for agreeing to do so.

This is such great news! The exact same hope I had for Ontario during the appeal proceedings. At least Australia will reap the benefits of your impeccable case study outlined in WTS. This will have reverberations I hope to other countries.
A Big Thanks!!!

Prophets without honor—or insufficient honor, at least—in their own country are sometimes acclaimed in other countries.
Hurrah for Nina and those Aussies who know how to honor a true prophet!

Great to hear! Australia (and now Canada) are at least making a national effort to get to the truth. Sadly, the US Government is still full steam ahead backing indiscriminate siting.
Let the truth be exposed!

I am so pleased that Australia is beginning to recognize the need to understand the adverse effects.
Please keep me informed as to where I can read the results of this hearing.
